Songs in the Imagination

In the Imagination, a story of a remarkable man, followed by remarkable people, all of them human and capable of missing the mark.

In the Imagination, the Mother is being remembered. She, who has the whole world in His Hands (Pieta and, Madonna and Son), lives inside of climate change, and is the Rider of the Four Horseman, for starters …

In the Imagination, a Society in Chains of its own making, the links built out of Steiner-sez, a self-created wound in the own potential for thinking in a new Way.

In the Imagination, a loss to the world that the Society teaches meditation, but not the secrets of GA-2 (A Theory of Knowledge Implicit in Goethe’s World Conception) and GA-4 (The Philosophy of Spiritual Activity.

In the Imagination, the Society in America is disconnected from the Land – and ignores not only the Mother in the Americas, but all the Arts of the Old-New World.

In the Imagination, the Society must die in order to become, otherwise no life will be found there.

In the Imagination, the Way is simple to picture, a mere involution of social form – the Center in Dornach owns up to what it is, a mausoleum, while the true spiritual life is in the Periphery, the Branches and Study Groups.

In the Imagination, in America, the Society should leave the cultural sphere, and form a business – “the business of America is business”. The Branches and Groups can realize that the treasures that they are meant to care for, also belong to the world, … a world that is full of “markets” for “wisdom”, and our “product” is needed … yet, if all we “offer” is expertise in Rudolf Steiner’s thought, and not our own journey via the Science of Knowing, … ashes to ashes …

In the Imagination, the gray heads in the Society are seen as a sign of wisdom. They are being tasked with stopping the reading Steiner, as the best way to recover their own heart’s mind.

In the Imagination, the signs of the times are toward increasing chaos, and scarcity, and … the more we cling to “tradition” as a reason for doing something, the more lifeless and fragile will the Society become.

In the Imagination, the Society needs to make the Science of Knowing, the growth of Goethean Science, and the Return of Christ in the Realm of Living Thought, at the forefront of what it offers the world.

In the Imagination, for there to be Michaelic Courage, there must be real risk.

Finally, in the Imagination it is clear that the Spiritual Worlds did not put all Their eggs in the basket of Steiner-sez, and the Society needs to seek for, and honor, Their other gifts … aka: new blood.
