The Barbarians are Inside the Gates

– an open letter to the People of America –

In order of culpability, the causes of our current American Crisis are:

a) the least culpable: the American Voter {the non-voter needs to help too}. b) Next in degree of folly, the politicians, far too many of whom will sell their souls for money and power. c) Above them are the multinational (“states unto themselves”) corporations, which are not “people”, but soulless parasitical businesses who buy and sell political influence. 4) Higher yet, and the worst of all … the American Press.

Granted freedom in the very first amendment: “Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” … the Media succumbed to the rule of lying advertisers and public relations firms, and the !?!National and Local News!?! became Infotainment.

The Democrat Party, and the Republican Party, are private ‘corporations’ – where candidates are picked for superficial reasons}. Neither can be trusted.The Individual Citizenwill not find this easy, yet very simple for the courageous. The task is for us to truly lead, not just lick our wounds. First, be aware that present day social chaos makes possible developing the Idea of government in a new form. This Idea is not new so much – just lost for a time – an Ideal Idea ofImportance to the whole world >>>>>>>IN AMERICA THE CITIZEN IS THE SOVEREIGN. “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

WHAT WE MADE, WE CAN UNMAKE, AND UPDATE … We talk about this with each other. Person to person – The Web of Lies untrustworthy. We need to be able to look each other in the eye. While the Preamble represents one “bookend”, the other is the first ten amendments which give expression to OUR rights, especially Nine and Ten.

Ninth Amendment: “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.” Tenth Amendment “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

We have the Right, we just have to seize the power – nobody is on the sidelines anymore.

A central worrisome reality is that there is an alleged division of our public life into Blue (liberal?) and Red (conservative) States. That is an illusion fostered by both “parties”, who seek power through dividing us.

If we look at the facts, outside the compromised corporate Major Media, the unacceptable reality is that most citizens are all in the same pirated boat, on ever increasingly violent seas.

An essential undercurrent is the folks with an appetite for banking and stock markets. After the dust of 2008 settled, only one of thousands of criminals went to jail. The tax payer bailed them out, while the Fed gave most of their (inflation causing) trillions of dollars in loans (money is created in a loan) in support foreign banks and institutions, while the folks who lost jobs and homes and suffered the most economic consequences, got nothing.

One of the main laws of life is that the right thing to do is usually the hardest thing to do. The smoldering remains, of the last election, could be healed by individuals creating venues in local communities where Red and Blue folks get to sit down, share a meal, and commiserate about how all of us are getting screwed by a medical system that serves wealth above health.

Health care is a human right. The New Constitution we will create should make that clear. The Idea of asserting our sovereign “We the People” power needs to be the subject of discussion at these feasts of sharing the common woes of folk, too many of whom live paycheck to credit-card. We – the extraordinary ordinary workers and consumers – whose young are cannon fodder for the wars over scarcer and scarcer resources, do not have to live this way. Our blood and sweat is hungered for by the love of money people Money itself is not the evil. The Love of money is.

We had a Revolutionary War over a number of issues, a major one being the assertion that the only allowable currency is the Bank of England species. The unjust (we never got to vote for it) economic debt-money reality, we now live within, can be changed to credit-money.
