
Does Trump have any virtues? Will history see something liberals are completely missing?

Trump has been fairly busy wrecking what modern liberal thinking sees
as a hard won set of agreements among Nation States, such as with
NATO. How can we be effective in the world when we don’t keep our
word?
Folks need to read George Washington’s Farewell
Address, which is a document 33 hand written pages long.

He warns us of the wreck that will result from our
succumbing to the belief that political parties have long term value.
He writes: “The
alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the
spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different
ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is
itself a frightful despotism.”
He also warned: “Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence … “ asking: “Why, by interweaving our destiny with that of any part of Europe, entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition, rivalship, interest, humor or caprice?

Some of the spirit of this line of thought has come to live in the instinctive actions of Trump, which have freed us from ties to the ambition and hungers of Europe, who can’t even manage its own business. As to the political parties, Trump is leading the whole political party process into ruination.
It is alleged we have video evidence of Trump’s thinking about politics, and a possible run for President, when he sez he would run as a Republican, because they are so gullible. It was an early version of fake news being used on him. Try to find it, and then admit – especially in this age of if it gets on the Internet it is never lost – maybe he didn’t say it. The most odd aspect is that liberals think about conservatives exactly like that; just as conservatives think about liberals.
Just to remind the reader, here is what he is alleged to have said (from a Facebook meme): “If I were to run, I’d run as a Republican. They’re the dumbest group of voters in the Country. They love anything on Fox News. I’d could lie and they’d still eat it up. I bet my numbers would be terrific.”
What is Trump’s stated expertise: “The Art of the Deal”. His instinct, as a – in his own view – a business tycoon, is about posturing/exaggerating/for success, in a world of professional posturing/exaggerating/for success by all the worlds leaders having to share the stage with Trump.
People worry over the influence Roy Cohen had on Trump, who taught Trump to do whatever he wanted, and if someone messes with you, sue them. This seems to be a characteristic of many of the world’s leaders, with which Trump has come to interact/negotiate/deal. Although, in many places, violence seems more useful than suits in courts of law. The world is not a sane place, and perhaps an alleged narcissistic is just what is needed.

People love him. Really. To liberals this seems insane. Exactly. In an insane world, survival requires such gifts in all of us.
There is a collective stupidity as regards “governance”. Partly this is due to the intentional acts of the Lords of Finance to lower the American Citizen’s understanding of what that means. This was begun after WWII, when the teaching of civics was slowly replaced with the less passionate ideas of “social studies”. Depending on interest and prior disposition to a mythical view, folk hold a lot of false ideas about … about what? Just what is the fundamental nature of the American political Way?

We are a democratic constitutional republic. We are not a democracy, and can’t ever be some kind of social utopia. That said, these three words establish the sovereign reality of being a citizen: “We the People … “. In the last moment, the darkest hours, we – the American Citizen are the government, and as such fundamentally responsible for our own fate.
We
can’t blame anyone for the world in which we live. Not even
ourselves. We are also not superheroes. All the same, there is
wisdom out there to guide our actions. The rite of passage, through
the turmoil of the dying and becoming of Western Civilization, is
not meant to be a joy ride. In the wider context of historical
evolution, we are living through what the Hopi call “the Day of
Purification”, and John the Baptist describes the incarnation of an
aspect of the Divine Mystery this way: “he will baptize you in fire
and holy breath”.
All
of us. No one escapes. At the same time, we are here. Do we hate
our neighbors as our enemies, or can we love them as we love
ourselves. Will we ever understand this time without the liberals
and conservatives hating each other?
We are part of the
Winds that Blow. And, so is everyone else. In
my dreams I see the Democrat Party (a dying organization), picking
two women: Elizabeth Warren, and Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez, after
which Oprah Winfrey announces her support, not just in words – but in
actions – by gifting their campaigns with a half a billion dollars,
challenging others to match it.
Recall these words, with which the Founders ended the original Declaration of Independence: And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
