lost chances?

My question is why do Americans imitate European Ways of seeking the spirit? I was getting ready to write my book “American Anthroposophy”, I chased down all the Steiner quotes on America I could find. See below – all Steiner … http://ipwebdev.com/hermit/anthroposophy.html

America was discovered in order to provide a counter-balance to the Asian Great Spirit (luciferic lightness). America leads man to heaviness and materialism. (R.S. paraphrased from Lecture 2,

Subterranean forces possess the American body – a geographical force, not a spiritual force. They chain man to the earth.
