Welcome to the Real Zombie Apocalypse

In the ‘60’s I watched a documentary on Carl Jung, noted explorer of dreams and such. He was asked by an interviewer: “What did you observe in these thousands of dreams to which you have listened?” His reply: “A great change of consciousness is coming”.

In my work I “read” the-collective-imagination, noting in the Arts how various themes arise and fall. What lurks in the heart’s mind of Artists is their visionary sensitivity. A common dark theme is this idea of a “zombie apocalypse”.

Something invades the nature of human beings, and they devolve into human flesh eating monsters, carrying death to everyone they chew upon. Yet, that death is odd, for once the human has died, the monster comes to life, and using that horrible body these creatures ravage the whole world, destroying civilization.

Such a “creature” is impossible to kill, mostly, given that its nature is to reanimate itself endlessly. This endless rebirth process sometimes can be killed by a shot to the head, and/or the head being completely cut off.

Generally, no one escapes in these stories, although often some remnants of humanity hide out, and learn how to survive.

Is this dark dream an artistic vision, from the collective unconscious, via the collective imagination?

The basic narrative of those selling the Big Lie of the pandemic is that some horrible infection is possessing just about everyone who comes in contact with a “carrier”. Often those surviving begin to fear any kind of less-than-antiseptic contact with the “carriers”. Theses potential carriers must be tested, and whatever the result of the tests, we have to make them take the medicine the authorities are telling us we all need, or we will die.

We have to hide, and coerce those who are already possible been bitten, in order to save ourselves.

In the above metaphor of the zombie apocalypse, Covid-19 is not the monster. It is the Idea of the Narrative that is the Monster. This fear-driven/belief/idea – that we must isolate or die –

needs to be killed. We have to shoot in the head, or take the heads off of those carrying the disease of acceptance of the Big Lie. Our weapons are the scientific truth, which the Narrative tries to constantly overwrite, like a massive hack job on the whole consciousness of humanity.
